Getting my happy back...

Hi guys been a while... sorry for the long silence.... been on the search for happiness. sigh* for the last three years now my emotions have been on a yoyo.. Sometimes i am happy and sometimes extremely sad...... but its been mainly extreme sadness... However this pain has thought me a lot of things... I have gone through a massive transition in the last 3 years, from having so many close friends to having just 1 or 2, teaching myself to expect the worst from people, human beings can be funny.. the list goes on.... In everything that has happened what hurt the most was trusting and being let down. My act of kindness was thus repaid with evil as a result of trust.... It has taken me a while to forgive myself for my mistakes and to get my happy back.... finally i think i am ready... i want to say to all those who have hurt me you are not worth my tears, frustration and sadness.. I Forgive you and wish you the best i  am letting bygone be bygone......

In pursuit of happiness.... starting from today see u @ the finish line

Word of the night

Sometimes we run to people  for succour, kos those that were suppose to give us some were never dre to. As a result, sometimes we end up in the hands of wrong pple who later take advantage of our vulnerability. Kos of that feeling of loneliness and feeling of being unappreciated, we seek friends and lovers amongst dogs in sheep clothing

Hair tips

Hey dolls just though i should share a quick one with yall on after care for your virgin hair

Washing and Conditioning

Before washing hair, tie hair with rubber band at the weft. Comb hair with a wide tooth brush, starting from

the weft to the end of the hair to remove knots; so that hair does not tangle while washing. Pour water into a

wash hand basin or bowl, the water should be lukewarm or tepid water; put hair inside the water, remove it

and gently squeeze out excess water from it . Shampoo brands recommended are Pantene pro-v, tresemme,

Aussie shampoo, L’Oreal Paris shampoo all can be found in boots or any supermarket around you in the

UK

Distribute shampoo evenly throughout the hair. Start with the weft, pat the weft with shampoo and work your

way down to the tips   Give your hair a good rub please do not scrub hair as if your washing clothes . Simply

slid your hand across hair and when you feel convinced that hair is clean wash with water. Rinse shampoo

out thoroughly and apply conditioner same way you applied the shampoo. It is advisable to leave conditioner

in hair for long between (30 mins to 1 days) so the hair can soak in the required nutrients. Rinse thoroughly.

Do not use sulphur based shampoo or conditioner. Pat hair with towel gently and allow hair to dry

Winter is here time to get me some WIG OR WEAVE.. BABAY,

Hey dolls

So its winter again.... those annoying cold mornings are along the corner, when you do NOT feel like going for lectures and you just want to stay under the blanket and have a long nap...

Winter to me has always been a fashion season, time for warmer clothes and all sorts of accessories from gloves, to head warmers, to hats (depending on your preference) to winter booties.. Boy do I love winter...

Also winter is the one time for you to give your natural hair a break and cover it up with a wig or hair wefts( weaves)... Due to the harsh weather and cold wind, exposing our natural hair as black women has some adverse effect on our hair during winter. The cold weather causes dryness and when our hair get too dry it starts to shed. By putting your hair in a weave or wearing a wig you are reducing pressure on your hair. The constant straightening  or curling of one's natural hair, coupled with the bad weather can cause immerse shedding.

Advantages of wearing  hair wefts (weaves) or wigs during winter
It protects your natural hair from damage and hair loss due to the cold weather

It helps you save time with regards to preparing for lectures and work or other important stuff.. Lol we all know people tend to get lazy and sluggish during winter as a result of the cold. When your hair is in a weave it reduces the stress of styling one’s natural hair. We all know natural black hair is not easy to style.. whewww

It gives you the option of versatility, its winter where everything is dull and dry give your hair some boost with a weave or wig, you can dye it into several colours and change the curl patterns as you please from wavy to straight to deep curls, to loose curls.  Natural hair as we all know doesn’t give much room for versatility.

Lastly its saves you money, Natural hair is usually very high maintenance and due to winter’s harsh weather you will have to care more for it than on summer days hence spending more money on your hair. By buying wigs or weave –on you do not have to worry about constantly treating your hair or running to the saloon every 2 weeks.  You can wear a wig throughout the whole of winter and you can also wear hair weft for 2-3 months depending on your preference. Therefore, saving you some money now you do not have to be, in and out of the saloon every time.

I sure you like woahh i am going to get me some wig or weave, well do not just buy any random wig or weave. I recommend you get 100 percent Virgin Hair (wig or Hair weft). If You get the wrong hair it might just be a night mare and you might just prefer knotty dreads instead.. Lol can't imagine the sight of that.

heart felt

hi my lovies, its been ages......... how have you been? been in Lagos for almost two weeks now... boy do i miss Ilorin. Been reading a lot of poems  lately... and a wise poet once said 'you are not writing a poem unless, its coming from the hear't. Just started a few lines of my first poem let me know if you guys like it. Any comments will be appreciated. This is from my heart (which is a dark place thou)

The past is easy to forgive, but not to forget
every now and then, i find myself in a cloudy spell of flashbacks
the truth is still bitter even after sugar coated lines, i feed myself, to hold the tears back
the anger wells up in my stomach and just like a python that swallowed a buffalo, i am full
filled with rage and despair, with disappointment and disdain..... i cheated myself, i fell for Lucifer not once not twice and i guess that makes me a fool.

hope yall enjoyed it.. i know it short... just wanted to give you a fell on what i am working on

I am going Lagos, tomorrow on the first bus, cant wait to see my mum, brothers and my little baby favor, Been home sick all week, also been missing some1 who was really special to me. Loneliness and Boredom is a combination that makes a young girl think and as such memories start to flow. Some good and others bad... well sometimes love hurts and sometimes it makes you smile.

Thank God, i am leaving Ilorin for some days, leaving behind the bad memories... and saying hello to old friends. Looking forward to meeting up with some friends in Lagos, and making new 'GOOD' memories... till next time XOXO........

Cheap and stylish

Hey Dolls... hope you all had a lovely weekend, as promised, i said for one week my post will be about other people's styles. Hope you liked the one on my Lovely friend, Alinko..... today's style queen is Magigain. She is a 6ft:1'' model and a law student. Magics is very bubbly and friendly and i will describe her style as effortless and yet still stylish. She has entered into a couple of modelling competition, last year she was a finalist in the Top model of Colour and she came 10th. (Drum rolls for her please)

As a tall Lady, who has curves its very hard to find your size and fit, and most tall people just throw on anything because of the stress of finding the perfect fit. Magics is a example of a Giant with style. :). Her Favorite shops are Asos, Newlook, Primark and Dorothy perkins. Magics states that 'the key to finding your size and what fits well as a tall girl is patience, I love to shop a lot just like any other girl , sometimes i find it difficult to find my size, but i exercise patience and check from rack to rack, till i find what fits best'. She also states that ' most tall people have to spend more money on clothes, very few shops cater for tall people, that is  why Dorothy Perkins, Topshop and Newlook (but they have stopped selling in stores and only sell online) are my favorite shops. You do not have to spend your life earning to buy from them and you can look chic and stylish in their clothes just like my midget friend dupe'. (that is me she insulting..lol).... 'I do believe in big labels and spending a fortune on clothes, shoes and bags... I believe a true fashionista, can rock Primark and look like Grace Kelly or Audrey Hepburn of Breakffast @ Tiffany's '.

How to spot fake Christian Louboutin

Hey dolls... wanted to share a quick one with yall. I am one person that prides myself in buying original things. I do not own a lot of designer items, but the few i own are all ORIGINAL.I make sure they are, by checking different details and making sure i buy from shops like Selfridges, House of fraser or
Bicester village, and if i am buying online i check other buyers tips on spotting the original . Some people buy fake not because they want to, but because the seller sold them fake. The link below gives details of how to spot a fake CL boot or shoe..
